Governance is how a group organizes to make decisions. In the specialized literature it defined as “the pursuit of collective interests.” Public governance, particularly, deals with the mechanisms and policies that allow a society to thrive. This course examines the policies that create prosperity, the agenda that society, led by its government, must have if it wants to function well and prosper; in this sense, this course is about the governance of social prosperity.
